Perennial. An old traditional heirloom, this gourmet variety is highly esteemed in Europe for its delicious stems and rose-colored buds that can be blanched white. Early maturing, once established it should reliably produce new edible spears for a few decades. Temp: 7–29 °C. Soak seeds overnight.
